  • Passport with valid work/retirement permit (non-SA resident)
  • Proof of residence (in your name, and not older than 3 month's)
  • Latest payslip or last three months' bank statements (for overdraft applications only)

Overdraft

A short-term credit facility to cover unforeseen expenses or to serve as a safety net. Customers must have an active FNB Cheque Account

What an overdraft offers me

  • Immediate availability upon approval, and if you don't use it you don't
  • No minimum monthly repayments as long as you remain within the agreed limit and make regular deposits such as your salary into your cheque account
  • A fluctuating facility, which reduces with monthly deposits
  • A personalised interest rate based on your credit profile

  • Cover unforeseen expenses
  • Enjoy a safety net in case of an emergency

FNB also offers a Debt Protection Plan to assist you and your family to pay Overdraft (credit facility) debt in the event of your death or permanent disability. To ease the financial burden in the event of temporary disability or retrenchment, we will help pay your monthly instalments on the covered facility.

Revolving loan

  • Manage your money with a Revolving Facility that allows you to access available funds 24/7 without needing to re-apply. You can apply for up to R450 000.
  • Choose between Variable and Fixed payment options
    • On a Variable payment option you only pay for what you use, repayments reduce as your balance reduces.
    • A Fixed repayment option is easy to budget for as your repayments never change.
  • Shortfall Protection is a product benefit that will automatically transfer funds from your Revolving Facility into your linked transactional account should the linked account become overdrawn (negative balance).
  • Transfer funds into any account on your profile directly from your Revolving Facility using our digital channels.
  • Make third party payments directly from your Revolving Facility using our digital channels
  • Debt Protection Plan is an insurance policy that is applied for with an insurer. The policy covers the outstanding balance of your debt in the event of death or permanent disability, and up to 12 months' instalments in the event of unemployment, inability to earn an income or temporary disability. How it works

  • Take up this loan at any FNB ATM, branch or through digital banking
  • Any deposits made into the FNB transactional account from the day after taking up the loan may be allocated towards the payment of the loan.
  • The amount you qualify for is dependent on your credit profile and subject to credit approval.
  • Use the funds for just about anything, from covering unforeseen emergencies.
  • A flexible loan that is repayable within 31 days.
